The Fort Qu'Appelle & District Lions Club is a service club consisting of like minded individuals that volunteer to provide service in their communities. Service comes in many forms, and Lions clubs help people and improve their communities in innumerable ways; not withstanding cultural differences and customs, the common language of Lions is service. We are free to choose our own projects and recruit members. The more we value diversity and model that as our club, the more we will prosper.
OUR MOTTO - 'WE SERVE'
Who We Are
Our club membership is at 43 in 2015. We meet the first and third Thursday monthly. The first Thursday is at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall for a supper meeting with a bit of fun or guest speaker. The third Thursday is the Business meeting held at 7:30 p.m. at the Tourist Booth located on highway Number 10. Our club is in it's 53rd year and going strong. We do not hesitate to take on new projects and are always looking for new suggestions.
Fort Qu'Appelle & District Lions Club has been in existence since 1961, so this makes it our 53rd year. Over the years, club members have provided many needed projects and services to events and locations in the surrounding communities.
