A Service organization that builds a community and assists those in need..."WE SERVE"

Welcome to the Fort Qu'Appelle & District Lions Club webpage. The Lions Club has been active in our area since 1961. Currently we have 38 members and are actively involved in many projects in the community.

We are looking forward to another exciting year, as we continue with our community projects and fundraising. The club is always looking for new members. Membership to join Lions is open to all, by invitation of a current Lions Club member. Prospective members may attend a supper meeting as guests of the club. They are also welcome to attend any business meeting.  Contact a Lions member for details on how you can be involved in your community or if you are interested, please visit our contact page and send us an email.

Our Lions Club President for 2021 -2022 is Larry Bedel

President's Message:

The 2021-22 Lions year is now into the 2nd half of our year.  As a Club we have been trying to practice safe health practices with the fall session having seen our business meetings being held via Zoom and most of our supper meetings cancelled.  We are now at the stage as a club to start returning to some more "normal" routines and Club activities are being planned for the spring/summer season.  Our big fundraiser, the Lions 7th Annual Fort Qu'Pelican Race, is kicking off its sales as of March 1, 2022 and we look forward to a successful event on July 1st.

Best wishes to all for a safe and healthy 2022.
